Duct cleaning is often overlooked as it goes sight unseen. Many homeowners ask how often they should have their ducts cleaned, and this all depends on your individual needs. If you are just moving into a new home, we highly recommend cleaning your air ducts before you fully move in, ensuring a clean and new environment for you and your family to start fresh in. Dirt, dust, smoke ash, pet hair and even skin flakes accumulate in the air ducts and form bacteria and viruses that are harmful to your body.
For people suffering with allergies or respiratory issues, we recommend getting your ducts cleaned more often as the accumulation of dust and debris will be more harmful for you than others.
If your duct system is quite old, there is a chance they are damaged, letting in unconditioned air into your home. This can cause your electric bill to become quite hefty, as your AC is working even harder to cool your home down. Along with unconditioned air, any damaged ducts will also bring debris through the vents and into your home. This can cause biological growth, dust and can even cause serious health issues down the line.

Why Duct Cleaning is needed
We advocate for whole-home indoor air quality solutions as part of our IAQ process. Part of that process involves duct cleaning, duct sealing, and duct sanitization.
Duct cleaning is helpful to reduce and eliminate allergens and irritants. Helps enhance the IAQ of your home. It removes unpleasant odors. Duct cleaning increases airflow in your home to effectively increase the ability for your air conditioner to cool your home.
Duct cleaning gets rid of mites, pet dander, pollen, insect droppings, bacteria, mildew and mold spores and more. Its basically like having a completely new air ducting system installed in your home.
We extend the life of the cleaned ducts with a recommended sanitization spray to help prolong the time needed until you need to clean again.
A well maintained air duct system saves you money over time. About 20% of your HVAC sair supply is lost to leaky, clogged and damaged vents and ducts.

How does our system differ from the rotary brush system?
Rotating Brush Systems:
The concept of cleaning ducts with rotating brushes has been around for decades and was considered an acceptable way to do so, until the introduction of flex ducting. Nearly all ducting nowadays consists of a thin, flexible plastic membrane, which is easily (and often) ripped by screws, nails, razor blades, etc. that are picked up and spun around by these rotating brushes. Clumsy brush heads are often too bulky to fit down more slender duct openings and are unwieldy around bends and corners. The brushes and cables that drive them have a tendency to bind and fray. Even in sheetmetal ducts, the brush heads often “grab” the exposed screw tips that join sections of ducting, and twist the joints, loosening the ducts, thus compromising the ducts’ integrity. Despite all this, a few companies still use these obsolete duct cleaning systems.
Blasting debris from ducts with highly compressed air- a method endorsed by the National Air Duct Cleaner’s Association, has been lab & field tested to do a better job of removing dust and debris from duct walls and won’t damage any type of ducting. Our 1” diameter Teflon Blasting Ball will fit deep into and slip around the corners of ducts with incredible ease. The powerful blast of air reaches into corrugations of flex ducting that brushes can miss, doing a more thorough job of cleaning. You will be absolutely amazed when you see all the debris swirling through the clear Vacuum Box.
